From the reviews
Dr Jackie Sanders is the best PT I’ve ever dealt with. She doesn’t treat you like just another patient. She tries to figure out what’s wrong and fix it. She is also very skilled at dry needling and cupping. No matter what you have going on she can fix it! Highly, highly recommend Jackie!
I am thrilled to share my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional care that I receive from the team at Wave! Jacqueline and a their team of therapists, which are truly remarkable even from the first day that I walked in, showed warmth, professionalism, and compassion is is beyond compare!
I have been receiving PT from Dr. Denis Mirosh for the past few months in order to stay on top of nagging injuries as a result of being a jiujitsu coach/competitor and medically retired from the military. I can’t tell you how much better I have felt since beginning our sessions together.
Anchor Wellness has been a great place for me to make progress on a chronic physical issue that was ailing me for a year. They have been able to approach it in systematic steps that have made me feel better each time. I have goals and an agenda of things to aid in that progress in between my appointments.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
