From the reviews

After two months of severe pain from a knot in my shoulder, I went to see Esly. He did gua sha, cupping and acupuncture and it was an absolute life saver. One hour with him and 2 months of not sleeping and pain at work were gone over night!

I enjoyed my experience at this establishment. They put you at ease right way with a calm ambiance. They offer a variety of services including cupping, acupuncture and massage. They even sell some snacks and sprays. I had a great session and would recommend them.

I have been several times now for acupuncture treatment. It's been amazing and has helped my muscles in my back recover. I was in extreme pain, but after my first appointment I started feeling significantly better. Night and day difference. I definitely recommend using Caldwell Family Wellness!

I just did a long review that has vanished. Esly is professional and knowledgeable and kind and eager to help with any and all concerns. He takes as much time as you need and is never dismissive. You can ask him anything.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
