About this directory
CuppingTherapyFinder.com is an independent directory of 14,489 cupping therapy providers across 51 US states — the acupuncture clinics, massage studios, physical-therapy and chiropractic practices, med spas, and dedicated hijama (wet cupping) specialists where cupping is genuinely on offer.
It's built for everyone weighing their first cupping session, and everyone who already knows they want it: the first-timer wondering "will it hurt? what are those round marks?", the person with tight shoulders or a stiff back looking for relief, the athlete chasing faster recovery, and the client seeking hijama with sterile single-use kits and a same-gender practitioner. The questions are always the same — how much does a session cost? does insurance, HSA, or FSA cover it? is it beginner-friendly, and what should I expect? which style do they do — dry, fire, massage, facial, or sports cupping? and who actually performs it? We built this site to answer them with data instead of hype.
How we confirm a provider actually offers cupping — the part that makes this site useful. Cupping is a treatment, not a business category, and it rarely has its own map listing — most providers offer it inside an acupuncture clinic, a massage studio, a PT or chiropractic practice, a med spa, or a hijama specialist's rooms. So we don't take a plain business listing's word for it. Every provider here passed an evidence gate: its own name, its own website (where it describes cupping, the styles it offers, or its pricing in its own words), or its public client reviews, where people say they actually received cupping. The same evidence backs everything we badge — the styles offered (dry, wet cupping / hijama, fire, massage, facial, and sports), the provider type, whether there's a female practitioner, and whether insurance is mentioned — each drawn from a real source rather than self-reporting. Because a badge requires proof, the counts are floors, and they grow as our crawls continue.
Listings are compiled from public map and business data, then filtered down to genuine cupping providers — the ones with real evidence they offer cupping, not every wellness business that happens to be nearby. We re-crawl the dataset on a rolling basis to catch closures and new openings.
Our "best-rated" rankings are computed from Google ratings weighted by review volume — no provider can pay for a placement or a rank. Every provider page links to the provider's own website and booking when it has one, and any price, style, or provider-type detail is always presented as approximate, because rates and schedules change faster than any directory can track. Always confirm the current price and what's included with the provider before you book.
A note on how we talk about cupping: we describe it plainly, the way many clients experience it — a hands-on therapy people turn to for muscle tension, soreness, and relaxation. Clients report relief, and that's how we frame it; you won't find cure-alls or efficacy promises here. This site is directory information, not medical advice.
A note on safety: cupping is a hands-on treatment, and the round marks it can leave are normal — discoloration from the suction that usually fades within a few days to about two weeks, not the same as an impact bruise. Fire cupping carries a small burn risk, and wet cupping / hijama depends on strict sterility and single-use kits, so it's worth asking about. Cupping isn't recommended if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have certain skin conditions or bleeding disorders — check with your doctor first. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
If you're a provider and want a correction — hours, address, the styles you offer, your provider type, or a listing that shouldn't be here — email hello@cuppingtherapyfinder.com and we'll fix it in the next refresh.
