From the reviews

Sara is the best. I had heavy tension in my shoulders and feet and was almost instantly relieved. I’ve had acupuncture and cupping as well in the past. Great for people in F&B and those on their feet all day.

★★★★★ — Will, Sep 2025

Sara is a wonderful therapist is great about making sure she tailors your massage to how your body is feeling at the time. I have gotten three massages at One Life with Sara and I loved every second of each one! She is professional and great at what she does.

★★★★★ — Heather, Oct 2012

I can’t say enough good things about my experience here! After a hectic couple of weeks juggling work and having the kids home for summer, I finally treated myself to a massage—and it was exactly what I needed. Sara was absolutely amazing!

★★★★★ — Kristi, Jun 2025

I have been searching off and on for years trying to find a great place to get a professional massage. Tranquil Body meets those expectations and I will be a returning patron. Sara asked prior to the session what I was looking for and if there were any focus areas for the massage.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
