From the reviews
Tiffany is truly a remarkable healer. She is a skilled listener and is thoughtful and thorough in her approach. She asks questions to help uncover the root cause and provides a go-forward plan to address all symptoms and concerns.
I'll start this review by admitting that I don't love acupuncture. I personally have a hard time relaxing when needles are involved. That being said, I continue to make appointments because acupuncture works.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Tiffany and her work. I started experiencing pain in my hip/ quad a few months ago and I have seen major improvements. The acupuncture not only helped physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
Tiffany is a master Accupuncturist and so passionate about her craft. Her professionalism and knowledge is second to none. I am always so touched at how much she does to “ go the extra mile” to ensure that her patients receive the utmost care. Cold and blustery days are few here in South Carolina.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
