From the reviews
I have always had a strong aversion to needles, but I have also always known that acupuncture can be a really great way to help the body. After meeting Chris on a walk and speaking with her about what she does and her gentle approach, I booked my first appointment.
Chris has helped me back to a quality of life where I am not in constant pain with my neck/shoulder! The accupuncture treatment has also helped with menapause & constipation. I also treated myself to a fascial rejuvenation and do not regret ...
Chris is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate and smart. She is helping me manage negative effects of cancer treatment with much success. She is also a very nice person. I highly recommend.
As a long haul Covid sufferer, the only relief and improvement I have found in over a year has been at the skilled hands of Chris at Bridge to Wellness Acupuncture. I am so thankful!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
