From the reviews
I just had the best experience at Therapeutic Elements Massage. Chelsea is incredibly talented at what she does. I asked for cupping and Chelsea was kind enough to explain the different types (Russian, Greek and Flash). I learned a lot about the benefits (detoxing and increased circulation), and left feeling educated.
Amazing. I have suffered from chronic pain for years and I have tried anything and everything for relief. Regular massages, chiropractic adjustments and massage devices only offer temporary relief and the pain comes back stronger. I googled trigger point massage and found Therapeutic Elements.
I had the pleasure of working with Amber, and I can confidently say she is one of the most skilled and knowledgeable medical massage therapists I’ve encountered. Her understanding of anatomy, injury recovery, and chronic pain management is outstanding.
Met Chelsea at a local festival for a chair massage and signed up for some medical massage sessions to address neck pain and mobility. I enjoyed pain relief and improved motion after the first session and significant results in only three treatments.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
