…I asked for cupping and Chelsea was kind enough to explain the different types (Russian, Greek and Flash). I learned a lot about the benefits (detoxing and increased circulation), and left feeling educated. Her pressure was spot on and she was naturally intuitive with areas that needed a little extra tlc.
I have been seeing Ms Chelsea for around a year or so. I had a neck injury back in 1989 and she is wonderful when it comes to working on my neck she is very knowledgeable and skilled in her profession, and one of the friendliest most kind young lady that I have met.
Problem with glute muscles in spasm causing instense sciatica. Tristina did a glute strip. While uncorfortable, the procedure helped reduce pain immediately. I already have a second appointment scheduled to hopefully relieve the remaining muscle tightness.
Chelsea does an alAMAZING job! Everytime I have areas that are painful she helps. She pays so much attention. The one day I came in walking funny, she knew exactly which areas to target. She is also very educational, she gives me stretches to do to help those troubled spots. It has helped tremendously!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
