From the reviews

I have been working with Dr. Deanna for over a year now and cannot say enough great things about her. From my very first visit with her, I knew we would connect. She is extremely down-to-earth, friendly, and has a genuine interest in helping her patients get the care they need.

★★★★★ — Kelly, Nov 2025

I had a cervical fusion in December 2024 (c2 to c7). With little improvement after months of physical therapy and some acupuncture I got very discouraged and felt like I was shutting down physically and mentally. Through conversation with a great friend, he told me about his wife (Deanna) and her occupation.

★★★★★ — Jason, Sep 2025

I would highly recommend Deanna for any physical therapy needs. Deanna has been my physical therapist for the last 4 years helping me with not only my ongoing vertigo issues, but also with a recent shoulder injury. She is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but is personable and easy going.

★★★★★ — Kirston, Oct 2025

I highly recommend Alchemy! I started seeing Deanna to address running-related pain with the desire to get back into running longer distances. I’m happy to report I’m registered to run my first 10K+ race in about 10 years, thanks to Deanna! I especially like her techniques, like dry needling and cupping.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
