What clients say about the cupping here
“She is the reason I have had the smoothest, easiest, and ultimately symptom-free pregnancy thanks to her treatments and thorough check-ins with me each week.”
From the reviews
You cannot go wrong visiting any of the women here. I've seen them all for different things and have nothing but great things to say. Most specifically Anne Butler for massage therapy is unlike anyone else. I have a severe migraine disorder and hold tons of tension in my neck and shoulders because of it.
Thank you Anne for fitting me in within 1 hr of when i called last minute. Amazing experience. I woke up with a killer migraine coming from trigger points in my neck and shoulders. I called in figuriging there would be no way id get in so last minute, but they fit me in and it was a Saturday morning!
There aren’t enough positive things to say about Meredith and her skillset she offers with Acupuncture. She is the reason I have had the smoothest, easiest, and ultimately symptom-free pregnancy thanks to her treatments and thorough check-ins with me each week.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
