From the reviews
I have been a disciple of Heather massage for several years, and this review is long overdue. Heather has assembled the best group of massage therapists & wellness practitioners in the area. They are experts in the field, with formal education and years of experience.
Do yourself a favor and book a massage here. I am a repeat customer here and have had the good fortune to get a deep tissue massage from Heather and a Thai massage from Sophia. Both ladies knew exactly what they’re doing and they are so professional and knowledgeable.
I’ve been going to Heather religiously every 1-2 months for the last 5 years and can’t say enough great things about her! I work as an ER nurse and my body is always hurting after all my long shifts and she is always able to pinpoint where my pain is and I leave feeling so much better.
I have been going to Heather for about 2 years now for my massages and I can say, she’s the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. She really puts her heart and soul into her business and as a therapist.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
