From the reviews
This is my first experience with Acupuncture. I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Meredith, she takes the time to really get to know her clients, asking thoughtful questions and explains everything I need to know. Honestly, despite having fear on how the it feels like, I’ve felt somehow relaxed after.
Seeing Dr. Murphy for acupuncture has been, hands down, the best pain relief I've experienced after a traumatic injury to my shoulder. She's been a dedicated advocate with my workers comp situation. Highly recommend!!
Dr Murphy is so great at what she does. Takes time each visit to listen and dialogue. Im blessed to have found her. Accupuncture has helped with my cervical dystonia and allergies
At least 12 years ago Meredith helped me with what I call her little needle "magic". I'm happy to highly recommend her!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
