From the reviews
…The use of hot stones, hot towels, aromatherapy, and cupping all contributed to the amazing experience. In addition to the fabulous service, the space was inviting, calming, clean, and provided the perfect place to engage in self care and healing.
Excellent massage service that always addresses my aches and pains while still providing a relaxing environment. She always provides individualized care, adding on cupping as needed. Online appointment process makes booking convenient and easy to keep up with regular sessions. Am happy to have found her!
Kjersten and Denise are both phenomenal. I am an achy lady and both of these ladies help ease my pains while promoting naps! And the new halosauna is the perfect start or end to a session! Highly recommend!
I went for my first 90 minute message today at S & B, feeling very sore and tired after a fall and a house move that required me to go up and down the stairs dozens of times in a short period. The incredible Emmie listened so well to my story and tailored a message which fit my needs perfectly. I feel SO MUCH BETTER!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
