This was my first time at New Life Foot & Body Spa and it was easily the best experience I’ve ever had getting a massage! The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and the service at the front desk was very friendly and professional! I got a 90 minute foot & body combo and I added hot stones and cupping.
i was pretty stressed for finals week at school, with a lot of hard tests coming up, so my mom recommended New Life Foot and Body Spa. it was my first massage, so i was a little nervous, but my masseuse was very kind and gentle. i asked her to focus on my upper back, neck, and calves and she did a great job.
I did the head spa and foot combo, just an amazing experience and so relaxing. My shoulders were also massaged. My head left feeling refreshed, as well as my hair smelling amazing. Will have to do again!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
