From the reviews

Went to see Matt for a shoulder injury I sustained in the gym. I was worried I’d have to take some time off from lifting and slow my progress but Matt was able to get me right and also suggest an alternate lifting routine to give my shoulder some rest while still working other areas.

★★★★★ — Brent, Apr 2026

Mat did an amazing job of helping me understand what was going on with my body. I left with confidence for the journey ahead also feeling and walking better immediately.

★★★★★ — Tasha, Apr 2026

The staff was very personable and professional throughout the entire process. Could not have had a better experience.

★★★★★ — Jeremy, Apr 2026

Summit Physical Therapy has been an amazing experience. I had been suffering from dizziness for several months. Very long story, short, I ended up being sent by my ENT to a doctor for vestibular testing; after reviewing my results (Otolith dysfunction), they suggested I do physical therapy with Summit.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
