From the reviews

This was my first time at Spa at the Barn and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was so relaxing and peaceful. The waterfall sounds were such a nice touch — it really helped create a calm, serene environment.

Tommy was my massage therapist and he was absolutely amazing! He was extremely attentive to my needs and adjusted pressures to my request. I have been going to spa at the barn for years as well as my husband and I can honestly say without a doubt, Tommy is one of the best therapist around.

I have been a client of Spa at the Barn for around 10 years. The owner, Kim, is the sweetest woman and is there working hard. I've seen Travis for years and he is an expert in stretches and relaxation. I also use Tommy for when I am needing more "work" done on me since my L4 & L5 are bulging and herniated.

★★★★★ — Cassie, Apr 2026

I had a great first experience at the Spa At The Barn. Roxanne and her scraping technique was suggested to me by the receptionist because I love deep tissue massages and have had past experiences where I paid extra for that and not get it. Roxanne definitely delivers that with her scraping technique.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
