So, I’ll provide pros & cons. I’ll start with the cons, bc the list is, thankfully, short. On 7/25 my best friend & I booked a one hour massage. When we walked into the building, the receptionist was on a phone call. That’s fine, we were willing to wait.
I saw online that they gave birthday specials and I decided to revisit life balance. I had not been in over 7/8 years. OMG I made the right decision. Caroline was the best!! I feel so good and renewed. I even purchased a membership it was so good LOL. GO!!!!! You will not regret it
Very unpretentious and comfortable place. My therapist Mary was very knowledgeable and professional and took time to hear what was going on and focused on the parts that I was concerned with. Took me about 5 minutes in to decide to do the annual membership. Well worth it
My husband and I came here and got a couple's massage for our anniversary. The romantic addition you can add to the package is too cute. My half of the massage was a Prenatal massage. Katie was amazing, and my body felt soo much better afterwards.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
