From the reviews
All of my services at Stone and Spa have been nothing short of amazing. I myself have even worked at other spas, and tend to be picky, but when I found this spot, I knew I had found my new massage therapist.
My girlfriends and I went to Stone & Spa for a spa retreat and it was absolutely heavenly! The indoor/outdoor spaces are so beautiful, peaceful and cozy, and Shoshanna clearly put a lot of thought into every detail - the robes, slippers, teas, candles and tarot decks - everything was perfect!
I had a wonderful experience today at the Community Soak, my first interaction with Stone and Spa. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in the right place. From start to finish, Shoshanna made the entire experience as memorable as it was healing, all while immersed in the sights, sounds, and beauty of nature.
I can't say enough about the experience! Shoshanna knows her stuff! I have been to other places to get a massage but their is no comparison. She not only has the expertise and knowledge but has such a great personality and spirit. The hot tub was terrific!! it was a great way to start the therapy.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
