From the reviews
I came in a few months ago after my right shoulder was dislocated when I was assaulted by a now, ex-neighbor. I attended PT for a couple of months with Dr. Emily, I was very well treated.
I came in dealing with some pretty serious injuries and honestly wasn't sure what to expect. From the very first visit, I knew I was in the right place. Alex and Grace run an incredibly tight operation, the communication alone sets them apart. You never feel like you're just another name on the schedule.
Dr. Glenn was able to pinpoint the root cause of my chronic lower back pain and create a weekly plan that's tailored to my needs. This plan has been the perfect balance between challenging and keeping things achievable. I’ve noticed real progress and everyday activities are starting to feel much less painful.
This is a wonderful place. Emily and the the rest of the therapists are top notch. They are very caring and knowledgeable. Not just your run of the mill physical therapy. I highly recommend them, and will always go back if I ever need PT again.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
