“I've received acupuncture from a variety of practitioners over the years and this was by far the most calming, relaxing, and professional.”

From the reviews
Robyn is amazing. I have been struggling with a bad back for years. I tried massage, acupuncture, chiropractor, orthopedist and cortisone. I got marginal relief, enough to play golf again. I felt the pain was just my new normal.
Thank goodness for Soul Sprout! The kind, fun, and talented staff have really been a game changer for me twice now, making Soul Sprout my go-to place when things feel off. The first game changer was when I was recovering from a surgery in 2018. I had a lot of associated weakness and nothing was helping.
I had an amazing experience with Maureen at her acupuncture clinic. I started visiting her at the beginning of my pregnancy and continued almost until the very end. Maureen is a compassionate and skilled acupuncturist who always made me feel comfortable and understood.
I called Soul Sprout when my pregnancy nausea was at an all time high. I just couldn't function. The team was able to fit me in same day for a sort of quickie that amazingly helped keep my vomiting at bay until I was able to come back in for a full session.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Soul Sprout Acupuncture
Soul Sprout Acupuncture comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — ask whether that can be arranged. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
