From the reviews

I HIGHLY recommend Jordan at Spokane Pain Relief! She is very communicative and intuitive. After our initial conversation, I was open to her doing what she felt was best during the service. She combined cupping not only on my back, but my forearms, which was pretty incredible and very necessary.

I just had my first massage with Jordan. I haven’t had a massage in a while, but have had them in the past. I must say - this girl does such a good job. She is very communicate which I like and she ensures you’re having a pleasant experience.

Jordan has put a lot of work into her space and it shows. Her studio is welcoming and relaxing from the instant you walk in the door. She has thought of every little thing from the tea and cookies in the waiting room to dry shampoo and makeup wipes for after your massage.

★★★★★ — Standish, Sep 2018

I highly recommend Spokane Pain Relief and the PEMF treatments! I have two herniated discs in my neck and normally have pretty intense pain for months until I can get the inflammation under control. I started to feel better after my first treatment with Jordan and after 4 treatments the pain was almost entirely gone!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
