Why Six Fishes Acupuncture is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “rst session I was down to maybe 10% of the pain and almost full mobility. It literally made me laugh in surprise. Pretty wild! Highly recommend giving it a shot with a private consultation for your first visit. Also had cupping done as…” source →

What clients say about the cupping here
“While I’m not pain free every single month, I have noticed a difference in bloating, and pain (from pain several times a month to now being able to manage and only on occasion rather than most days).”
“Nicole is so knowledgeable about fertility issues, which has been so helpful to know she understands what I’m going through and to give me feedback on eastern vs western medicine’s approaches.”
“She is full of endless knowledge, she listens to your feedback and is quick to adjust her technique for your comfort, and she is unbelievably kind.”
“They’re such wonderful souls, very knowledgeable, efficient, calm presence and they go above and beyond to make you leave your session feeling incredibly relaxed.”
“Amanda at the front desk is warm and welcoming, and I always enjoy getting to see her.”
From the reviews
I absolutely love and couldn’t recommend enough this place and their incredible practitioners. Staff is wonderful and efficient. Place is clean, organized and so welcoming. It’s being four years that I go there and it does wonders to my health (anxiety, insomnia, joint pain, hormonal issues…).
My first time ever for acupuncture and the ambiance was very tranquil. The staff friendly. The practitioner was friendly, gentle and answered all of my questions. The acupuncture and cupping were amazing! Never thought it would feel that good, definitely going to make this a regimen for my body healing!
Ive been going to Six Fishes for over a year now. Melody there is amazing. She's diligent and takes her time so that she can adaptsm her treatments to what I need in each session every week. She listens and remembers everything so well.
Love Sul! She’s so personable and warm. At this point, she knows how to heal all of my ailments be it anxiety, insomnia or back pain. And she’s a true delight to talk to. The receptionist Amanda is also super lovely and we always have a nice chat. Acupuncture helps so much with physical ailments and mental clarity.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
