From the reviews
Beth at Sister Strength was awesome! She listened to my issues and I really felt heard! She made sure I was comfortable and checked in throughout the session! I had great results from my treatment and will be scheduling another appointment soon!
Beth listened to my issues and provided great feedback. She had a personalized exercise app to help me continue my PT at home. I was so glad to find a PT that understood how the whole body works together -specifically diaphragmatic breathing- to heal pelvic floor.
Beth is so knowledgeable and compassionate! She truly invests in her clients’ wellbeing, including knowing when to encourage you to add to your care team beyond her practice. She has been a core part of my PCOS journey and I recommend her to anyone who needs nurturing care!
Sister Strength PT has been an essential part of my healing journey after 5 full-term babies. Bonus: For the first time in 15 months, I have been able to run without pain in my hip! So grateful to Beth for her professional, kind, and supportive knowledge! Highly recommend!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
