From the reviews
Lori is absolutely amazing! I’ve been seeing her for chronic whiplash and she has really helped eased my headaches and neck pain. I’ve never in my life felt loose in my shoulders until I started getting treatment from Lori. She is one in a million.
Lori is magic!! I have an incredibly stressful job and i clench my jaw and due to that i have a lot of neck and shoulder pain. My favorite time of the week is when I go see Lori to help alleviate the pain with acupuncture, gua sha, and cupping. It is incredible how much better i feel after! Thank you!!!
Most phenomenal acupuncturist I’ve ever experienced in Portland! They have helped me heal after so many injuries and overall mental well being. Highly recommend trying their fire cupping + acupuncture combination.
I have been going here for a few months now and I couldn't speak more highly of all of the staff here. They genuinely care about their patients and invest in making your life better. I have had a visit with Allison, and she was wonderful for my anxiety and stress levels.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
