From the reviews

I've been receiving myofascial release therapy from Theresa Boehm for a few months and feel great. I was dealing with leg pain that impacted my ability to exercise as much as I wanted. It was also interfering with my sleep. My primary care physician said that it was just something to be expected as we age.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Theresa is an incredible masseuse, she knows exactly what your muscles need! I had a wonderful experience, highly recommend you try her cupping treatment!

★★★★★ — Danka, Jun 2022

I had my first session with Theresa a few days ago and wow! She worked wonders on an old shoulder injury I have as well as alleviated some ongoing back pain. I also love the fact that she provides cupping and heat to the therapy (if you'd like). Definitely would recommend her to anyone seeking relief or relaxation.

★★★★★ — Alisa, Nov 2024

Michelle has always been knowledgeable about how different muscle groups work together, and has helped me to realise what I need to do to fix my injuries from my past. She's careful, skillful, and communicates how and why injuries can link together.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
