From the reviews
Dr Brian Wilkins always goes above and beyond with his care. I have had pain relief and healing on my knee, Achilles (both R & L), shoulder and neck. He uses scraping, cupping, soft tissue manipulation and adjusts using a drop table. Brian always listens to truly listen and gives good solutions/exercises that work.
Dr. Michael Simele is amazing. I’ve been to several chiropractors over the years, but Elite Spine and Sport stands out. They truly listen to your concerns and take the time to understand your pain before starting any treatment. The adjustments are gentle yet incredibly effective.
What a great first appointment with Dr. Wilkins at Elite Spine and Sports! As we've moved around the Portland-Metro area the past 30 years, I've had the opportunity to work for extended periods with several different chiropractors...and it is always hard, personally, to make that change to someone new. Dr.
Dr. Karena Stalnaker is awesome! I was a little sore after leaving our first appointment, and then...wow, I felt a whole lot better than I have all this past week. I lived with my issue for about a year, thinking maybe stretching or massage, or anything might fix my pain, but nothing worked.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
