From the reviews

I’ve been seeking out different therapies for years for a 15 yr old back injury and 7 yr old disc herniation that cause major nerve damage in my leg. Dr Jamie has hands down helped me more in a few sessions then anything else I have ever tried.

★★★★★ — Laura, Apr 2024

I can't recommend Jamie highly enough! My doctor recommended acupuncture to assist with a hormonal imbalance and having no prior experience with acupuncture, I was not sure what to expect when I came in for my first treatment.

★★★★★ — Rachel, Jan 2017

Dr. Jamie Reed is a game-changer! Her acupuncture treatments have significantly improved my overall health, both mentally and physically. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr. Reed takes the time to understand my needs and tailors each session to help me achieve balance and wellness.

★★★★★ — Jessica, Oct 2024

Jamie helped my husband recover from shoulder & neck nerve pain right away. She's also supporting me with autoimmune symptoms from Crohn's, hormonal health, and overall better energy. I can't recommend her acupuncture services enough!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
