From the reviews

I just had my first 90 minute massage with Judd and I will say I am very impressed. His background in PT is very evident throughout the massage. He even did cupping on the very tense points in my back without up selling. Eagerly booked my next massage before I even left. Calming and serene space with street parking.

I first entered this converted house and went to the nice little waiting room as instructed. Water was already available. Judd met me on time and took me to the therapy room. It was a little big but once I was on the table it wasn't an issue. A good-sized set of cubbies held all my belongings.

As someone with chronic pain and chronic muscle tension, I can say that Judd does an excellent job of listening to and understanding the issues I have and what I need worked on. He is able to apply a moderate amount of pressure to work out knots that I previously have needed deep tissue massage for.

★★★★★ — Jackie, Dec 2024

Judd takes the time to understand your needs and is intuitive on where your body needs the most support. He takes the time to listen to issues you are having, and he gives one of the best massages I've ever had. I've been going regularly for 6 months or so, and have felt major improvements.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
