Why Gretchen Truly Massage is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “iority, and every session is tailored to your specific needs. You’ll notice my services and rates are different in structure. I do not charge differently based on massage modality, nor do I charge extra for add-ons like cupping or IASTM.…” source →

“The session was so relaxing and deep in a way that did not trigger other parts of my body.”
From the reviews
GTM is a lovely environment. Gretchen made me feel comfortable and helped relieve tension in my body. Her Sarga techniques provide deep slow pressure which makes it easy to breathe through. She also combined cupping and heated scrapping which was a huge bonus to help further address my target areas.
I had my first sarga experience with Gretchen and my body is still on cloud 9 today! The session was so relaxing and deep in a way that did not trigger other parts of my body. Gretchen kindly explains the work before and as its going and the massage bed is so relaxing with the heated blanket.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
