From the reviews

I heard about R3 (P3) from my brother, who has been a recent patient and shared positive experiences so far. I knew one of the PTs beforehand so I was hoping to get to work with her. However, because of her busy clientele, I got to work closely with Shaine.

★★★★★ — Leslie, Jan 2026

I came to R3 Therapy when I was in desperate need of strategies to make pain go away from whiplash when I was rear-ended and sandwiched in a car accident. I didn't seek out therapy until 8 months after the accident.

★★★★★ — Legare, Feb 2026

I genuinely recommend R3 Athletic for anyone recovering from a serious injury. I sustained a pilon fracture of my right tibia and fibula while hiking in a national park and was taken to a trauma center for emergency care. After ORIF surgery, I knew the rehabilitation process would be long and demanding.

★★★★★ — Rekha, Feb 2026

I’ve been struggling with De Quervain’s Tenosyvitis for over a year due to overuse from Pickleball and Weightlifting. I tried YouTube exercises, bracing, resting, cortisone, and nothing gave me relief and confidence to play hard.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
