What clients say about the cupping here
“A friend recently recommended Baowen to me because I had been dealing with persistent lower back and shoulder pain, as well as sleep issues.”
“The doctor carefully evaluates my condition each time and chooses the acupuncture points based on how my body is feeling that day, which makes the treatment feel very personalized and professional.”
“She explained that since there were no effective treatment options left, and although she was not yet licensed, she had already been studying Traditional Chinese Medicine for four years.”
“I’ve had two acupuncture sessions and one moxibustion treatment so far, and each session has been very relaxing.”
“My daughter went in for help with an ankle injury, and since it was her first time trying acupuncture, she was a little nervous.”
From the reviews
I experienced recurring neck, shoulder, and arm pain after a car accident, which sometimes affected my sleep. After a series of acupuncture, cupping, and occasional moxibustion treatments, my symptoms gradually improved and eventually resolved.
I had a lower back pain and came to know Bao through friend. Bao is very patient and I was very impressed by her treatment. The pain was gone like 80% in the same day after her acupuncture and cupping worked together.
The central cracks have become shallower, indicating that yin deficiency is improving, yin fluids are being restored, and dryness caused by deficiency has eased. The tongue coating has become thinner, suggesting that phlegm-dampness is no longer as severe. I’ve done the acupuncture twice, so it’s extremely affective.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
