From the reviews
I went in for my first Thai Massage. I was really glad that I chose this massage over Swedish based on what I was looking to achieve at this appointment. I changed the massage type at the beginning of my appointment and Priscilla was very accommodating in preparing her room.
Two thumbs up! I've been to Pacific Northwest Wellness for both massage therapy and for a session of health coaching. This review is really about the health coaching and I'm really pleased!
I had my first session at Pacific Northwest Wellness back in October. I was very happy with the experience. Priscilla is friendly, accommodating, and above all else, professional. She was thorough in assessing my situation and her massage techniques were outstanding.
Priscilla is great at what she does! She is always very professional and attentive. I usually have a Swedish massage, which is always amazing and relaxing. I recently tried Sarga and Thai yoga as well. I wasn't sure what to expect with either of these and ended up really enjoying them both.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
