“It was my first time ever doing red light therapy or getting a body scan and it was amazing!”
From the reviews
I love this clinic it’s so welcoming and I felt so appreciated. My experience here was great from the body scan to the red light therapy. The body scan is so insightful it showed me information that I was never aware of before that I can now improve on myself.
The ladies at Pur Life in Steiner Ranch are so kind and knowledgeable. I signed up for Red Light Therapy, which I love and also told them about my severe gut issues. They recommended a seven day detox protocol and it is absolutely amazing. My very bloated stomach is no longer bloated and my energy is so much better.
This place is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this med spa! The packages are a great value and you can really track your progress. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and truly make you feel taken care of. The whole experience is relaxing, and they always seem to find a way to fit me in.
What can I say? The program works! I'm down 30lbs in about 2 months, with more to come! I couldn't have done that without the guidance of Tiffany, Mia and Turner. It wasn't cheap, but the Return On Investment is undeniable. My knees and ankles are much better with that load off.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at PÜR LIFE Medical - Austin
PÜR LIFE Medical - Austin comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — ask whether that can be arranged. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
