Asia Massage in Lakeway has been a staple in my wellness regimen for the last 4+ years. The quality and consistency of their deep tissue massage is the best I’ve had in Austin. The prices are extremely fair and affordable.
I was traveling here and looked for several massage shops to compare. I saw good reviews of Asian Massage and chose to try it here. Amy was amazing. She was very experienced and took care of my tired nerves and muscles. After the 90-minute massage, I felt like a completely new person.
We came to Lakeway for a short getaway and were in need of a great massage. After reading the excellent reviews, we decided to visit Asia—and it did not disappoint! We opted for the couples massage, and it was absolutely amazing.
I’ve been here probably five times and it’s the only place I will go in Lakeway area. This place is so awesome. They do a wonderful job. They take their time. They’re absolute professionals and they know how to make your pain go away. I’ve had some really bad neck pain in which I can hardly turn my neck.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
