From the reviews
After years of post baby incontinence even after having a surgery to help, nothing has helped me more than Jill and her expertise! She instantly makes you feel comfortable to talk about anything and everything.
I reached out to O'Brien after I experienced a freak injury training aerial arts. Erica went above and beyond to learn about the sports I train and the physical therapy that would be needed to let me return to my best.
Erika is Amazing. Focuses on the alignment and symmetry (or lack there of) of the entire physiology of the body! Working to build new posture patterns to help with all my aches and pains. Making progress!
I started working with Jill in May, and I am SO glad I did! She is the best PT I have worked with. This past fall/winter, I struggled with IT band syndrome and hip bursitis. I took time off running and worked with a different PT, which helped short-term, but I continued to have knee pain and off-and-on hip pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
