From the reviews

Rachel is awesome ! She really helped relieve my back pain and anxiety! It was also my first time doing the cupping service! She walked me through everything and always made sure I was comfortable!

★★★★★ — Libby, May 2025

This was my first time getting a massage from Rachel. She is very warm and inviting. Along with that she explained her technique she was going to use for me and address the mid back concern I was having. She was always checking in to make sure I was comfortable during the massage.

★★★★★ — Nicole, Apr 2025

I have gone to Rachel multiple times and always leave feeling so warm, cozy, and relaxed. I have chronic pain and disabilities that are often difficult to handle with other massage therapists but Rachel is super communicative and responsive to my needs.

★★★★★ — Kerrigan, Sep 2025

Rachel is so wonderful - can't recommend her enough!! From a smiling face to greet me right away to water and candy waiting for me at the end, my entire experience was so dreamy. Rachel really knows her stuff, she got all my knots out but still had me really relaxed.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
