From the reviews
Over the past year, Nest has been an incredible source for healing my body, which includes back and neck pain. Dr. Vikky and others at Nest really care about their patients and facility is highly professional. You are greeted at each visit by Theresa who is very friendly and helpful. Overall, I'm so grateful for Dr.
I have really enjoyed my experience at Nest! I have done acupuncture with Vikky, Tiffinie and Sara and they have all been incredibly helpful in explaining things to me and bringing a sense of calmness to my journey. Teresa makes scheduling my appointments very easy and even fun, always getting a laugh in.
Navigating fertility can be overwhelming and lonely! Throughout my (long) journey I’ve found it important and necessary to have a well rounded support system. Weekly acupuncture has been instrumental in helping my body heal (which I didn’t know was sick), see improvements, learning about my body, a safe place to ask…
Teresa was by far the best acupuncturist I’ve ever had. She did my accupunture before and after my IVF transfer and it was amazing. She had me hold the fertility stone the whole time which was calming and she gave me my own stone to take home which was so sweet of her. Best experience I’ve had with acupuncture ever.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
