What clients say about the cupping here
“I had some lower back pain from a basketball injury, and was skeptical about cupping at first but Dr Shin was highly recommended.”
“Justin knows his stuff from a Western and Eastern perspective, you can't go wrong with treatment from him.”
From the reviews
I started cupping to try and alleviate a long-term issue I have had with my right foot. Justin was great in identifying the right area to focus on. I also had a random issue with a muscle around my shoulder blade, it was so painful I could not lie down normally in bed.
Cupping is an amazing form of pain management and general well being. After any cupping treatment I have received I feel immediate benefits to the treated areas. I deal with really bad tightness in my lower back, but any time I receive treatment I feel an immediate relief and looseness that I did not feel before.
I had some lower back pain from a basketball injury, and was skeptical about cupping at first but Dr Shin was highly recommended. With nothing to lose, I gave it shot and after a few sessions I was almost completely pain-free. I’m not only able to play ball again, but now I’m back to wilding out at Raven every weekend!
I wasn't sure what Cupping was but because i was always in constant pain i decided to try something new. Dr. Shin is amazing and very knowledgeable. I was able to feel the difference immediately and it definitely helped subside some of the pain I've been dealing with. Highly recommend!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
