From the reviews
Dr. Godfrey is the absolute best. He's compassionate and does not judge. I am thankful to have someone with this level of expertise in Chinese medicine. I suffer from anxiety and left my session feeling refreshed and like I was one person. The acupuncture for me was painless and I enjoyed the cupping!
I had an acupuncture session several years ago in another city which was mediocre. I had severe shoulder pain due to arthritis and decided to opt for acupuncture sessions. Dr. Fayne is a Medical Doctor of Chinese Medicine. His credentials were hugh for me in making my decision for acupuncture sessions. Dr.
I have been seeing Dr. Fayne for about a month. I was seeing him for a spider bite that happened a year ago. From the spider bite I was experiencing neuropathy pain in my left leg. After the first treatment my leg felt better but the numbness was still there.
Dr.Fayne was so warm and welcoming. He took time to thoroughly talk, listen and ask questions. He also explained processes and procedures so that I understood the plan of action with clear expectations. I felt comfortable, relaxed and connected ! Job well done Sir!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
