From the reviews
My hip felt misaligned for months after attending a golf trip. I attended a chiropractor who told me that there was nothing she could do. My hip felt as though it needed to be popped back in place. I met with Dr. Amy (who, in full disclosure, is my sister). I typically only see Western doctors. Dr.
What does acupuncture do for you? It helps calm my anxiety, reduce any menopause symptoms, and speed up my post-surgery recovery process. What do you appreciate most about our clinic and your experience here? The warm, inviting atmosphere and staff. They’re always kind, understanding, and helpful.
I have benefitted tremendously from my treatment here. My daily headaches and migraines have essentially stopped. My upper back pain is gone. My neck and shoulder pain has become totally manageable and barely interferes with my day to day life anymore.
Acupuncture at Herb + Ohm has helped relieve pain in my back, neck, and shoulders, while also easing the stress and anxiety I’d been feeling. It’s even supported an ankle injury — honestly, it’s made a difference in so many areas! I really appreciate the calming environment and their genuine dedication to healing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
