From the reviews

I guess we all expect our professionals to be "professional" and Rhonda is that - she knows her discipline, she is able to articulate for new patients - as I was - the theory and practice of acupuncture. Such professionalism but assures and prepares for the treatment.

I had been having issues with migraines and headaches. After 2 sessions, I saw ALOT of improvement with Rhonda's help! I feel blessed to have found Rhonda and the help she has given me to not only address my migraines but other health concerns as well.

★★★★★ — Heather, Mar 2021

As a chiropractor, I know the benefit of a healthy body. When my 3.5 year old daughter became ill last week, I knew adjustments weren't going to be the only thing we did.

★★★★★ — Morgan, Oct 2017

Rhonda really put me at ease when I came in for my first session with her today. It had been 6 or 7 years since I last received acupuncture. She took the time to get to know what my concerns were and explain everything she was going to be doing and why, which I greatly appreciated.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
