From the reviews
I’ve been going to Jean for years now and cannot recommend her enough! She is so warm, friendly and professional, and she really knows her stuff - she is always learning new techniques to better serve her clients. I always leave her office feeling refreshed, relaxed and so much better physically.
I had a 1.5 year serious foot injury where I just sat. I’m visiting Lancaster and called several therapists. I am highly allergic to fragrance. Jean confidently gave me an appointment first thing in the morning. She Opened up my back, shoulders and hips like the total pro she is.
I have had fibromyalgia and autoimmune disease for over 30 years. I would get massages that would feel amazing while I was on the table, but would get off the table and feel no different. Then I met Jean…. Apparently orthopedic massage is very different than regular massage. I wished I would have known this years ago!
I have been seeing Kim for almost a year now, and each session I‘ve had with her is met which such professionalism and care. This is the second time I’m returning to her because of the same area of injury, and she has been so helpful in relieving the pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
