From the reviews
I’ve been working with Tara for a year. She is incredibly gifted and very intuitive. This is definitely therapeutic care. Assessing your specific needs and guiding your therapy to those needs is her specialty! I’ve had massage, cupping, Reiki, and reflexology.
Tara is truly gifted. Her deep tissue technique has been a lifesaver for my back pain, especially from spending long days on my feet caring for others. What makes her stand out is that her sessions go beyond just the physical—she takes a whole body wellness approach that leaves me feeling renewed inside and out.
I have been seeing Tara for massages for about 2 years now from pre-pregnancy through postpartum. Throughout my time with her, my body has never felt better! Not only is she personable & trustworthy, but her work is exceptional.
I’ve been coming to Tara monthly for approximately 2 1/2 years now. As a woman with fibromyalgia as well arthritis, she takes the time to get to know my needs and adjusts accordingly. She radiates positive energy and is very passionate about what she does.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
