From the reviews
I have a history of physical injuries from a car accident as a teenager and a very physical career path. Now in my 30's, I see Kate once a month to sooth and decompress my troublesome areas. This woman knows her craft.
Kate is amazing! She really works to fix any problems you have, including using special oils and cupping. I definitely recommend.
Kate is amazing! I've been going to her for years and she always knows exactly how to ease my aches and pains. I highly recommend her!
I went in to see Kate for a lingering muscle issue. After a one hr massage with her my muscles are relaxed and pin free. Her wonderful ideas and stretching techniques have made a huge difference. I highly recommend Kate.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
