“The space is so cute and comfortable, and Danielle was so good at communicating and checking in throughout my massage and cupping!”

From the reviews

Danielle has created such a safe, warm, and inviting place at Evoke! I recently got into a car accident and have been experiencing increased stress lately, and she was very intentional about creating a relaxation massage that was tailored to my needs.

★★★★★ — Joanna, Mar 2024

Danielle is the best, and Evoke Eugene is where you should go for all your future massages. The space is so cute and comfortable, and Danielle was so good at communicating and checking in throughout my massage and cupping!

★★★★★ — Sophia, Jun 2024

I came here for my first massage and cupping experience, and I was so happy with my experience! The space is very clean, and warm, and welcoming. I was a little anxious for my first massage, but she had such a kind, calming, presence and made me feel really comfortable!

★★★★★ — Maryah, Mar 2025

Dani is the best masseuse in Eugene! She incorporates mindfulness, sound bowls, cupping, stretching, and deep breathing. Today’s massage was the first that almost put me to sleep. She is very trauma informed and checks in before each appointment to ask what you need and what you want to focus on.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
