From the reviews

I’m well taken care of here. Barbara has taken great care of my physical and mental well being. I’m also very happy when I get to see Heather as well. Such wonderful souls with incredible healing hands.

From the moment you walk in, it feels like and is a high end spa. I have been to the spas where you pay $90.00 for a 50 min very basic Swedish massage. I paid 89.00 for a specialized 80 min massage - deep tissue, trigger point therapy.

★★★★★ — Renee, Nov 2012

I highly recommend Elements Massage in Wayland. Jeff gave me one of the best, if not the best, therapeutic massages. I was in from out of town and was experiencing intense nerve pain and muscle strain. I explained the problematic areas and Jeff worked on them with an expert sense of what might give me some relief.

Bob’s massage at Elements was exceptional. From the warm welcome to his attentive care, the experience was top-notch. He tailored the massage to my needs, using a perfect blend of pressure to relieve tension and promote relaxation.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
