From the reviews
Saw Julia for adhesions up and down my right arm (stemming from an old injury) that were limiting my gains in the gym and really limiting my mobility/range of motion. She used various techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point, U/S, and cupping to help release them.
I was dealing with numbness in my right arm, tingling in my right fingers and loss in strength on my right side during my gym sessions so I decided to book a deep tissue session with Julia based on reviews. The experience was exactly as how everyone has mentioned in the reviews.
I walked in with persistent tight knots in my back that haven't gone away for weeks and the pain was interfering with my sleep. Julia got deep into finding the tight spots, and used her hands, cupping, and percussion gun to release the tension.
I feel like my body is in a much better place than where it was before getting a massage with Julia! She really wanted to help solve the issues! I felt instantly comfortable with her, and her space smelled so good!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
