From the reviews

This is truly a hidden gem! I work with Tracy, Who actually listens to her clients and works to make each massage very specific to what their needs are at that moment. She’s fine adjusting each session to make it unique for her clients and really focuses on therapy if needed.

★★★★★ — Tim, Sep 2024

I am super super picky about massages - and this team DELIVERS. I want to be heard, and fixed, AND relaxed after a massage and they consistently provide all three services! I need a fair amount of pressure and they are intuitive with where and how much to give me. I can't sing their praises enough.

I have been a client of Sudbury Massage and Wellness for many years. From the moment I walk in and feel the calming energy of their zen space I know I'm in for a treat! Christy is a true professional - delivering a strong and therapeutic massage that is also very relaxing.

★★★★★ — Susan, Apr 2024

Christy has been my massage therapist for the last several years. I wouldn’t ever miss an appointment! Her massage skills couldn’t be better, but it’s her positive attitude, holistic approach, and sense of humor that really make her stand out.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
