What clients say about the cupping here
“Running through the full assessment with him gave me clear, actionable feedback on what my body is doing well and where I need more mobility and stability.”
“I highly recommend Nick at Drive PT to anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals with a knowledgeable, supportive, and fun trainer!”
“Would definitely recommend to athletes or anyone looking to improve their fitness and prevent sports related injuries in the future (or just anyone with general injuries).”
From the reviews
Nick & AJ have been great during my acl and meniscus rehab. As a PGA Pro and athlete I have endured a few injuries/ surgeries over the years. The level of service at Drive is second to none. The scrapers, cupping and additional technology is a perk that I have never had at a typical PT practice.
I highly recommend Drive for those looking to decrease sports-related pain and improve athletic performance. I recently changed up my training style and sought help from Nick to reduce my nagging back and hip pain while running.
I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Drive Physical Therapy. The first time I needed physical therapy it was with a different practice. I did receive some individual attention, but mostly I was simply instructed on what to do while the therapist worked on someone else.
I highly recommend this physical therapy group. They have been treating me for ankle and knee issues, and I’ve had an excellent experience. From the start, they were thorough in evaluating my symptoms and helping identify the underlying problems.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
