What can I say about Kelly? She is AMAZING!!!! What a wonderful massage I had by her on Friday, March 7; an early birthday 🎂 present to myself. I had read the reviews and a good friend of mine said that Spa Rituals is the BEST day spa in Saratoga Springs so I decided to check it out for myself. I’m so glad that I did.
I recently received a gift for a 75-minute Aromatherapy Swedish Massage with Jessica at Spa Rituals, and it was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, warm, and immediately put me at ease. The entire experience was incredibly relaxing, and I am pretty sure I drifted off more than once.
Kelly is a professional in every way. She is extremely knowledgeable and makes helpful suggestions to help you look your very best. I receive many compliments on my skin after her treatments. Her beautiful, new boutique style spa is attractive, spotless and very private.
Spa Rituals is one of the most welcoming and professional Spas I've been to. Both me and my Husband were greeted at the door as if they knew us. A++. We both had a Deep Tissue massage and it was amazing. Kelly and Jessica were great. This was our first time here and I give Spa Rituals a 10/10. Highly recommend.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
