From the reviews

I have been treated for years by several acupuncturists in the Cincinnati area and I have traveled for hours out of state just to be treated. Dr. Inesa Zelepuhin is the best by far. I only wish I could give her more stars.

★★★★★ — Kim, Mar 2016

Dr. Inesa is so wonderful! I have been suffering with cystic acne for years, and have tried so many different treatments to no avail. Recently, I decided to give cosmetic acupuncture a try. I've had 4 sessions with Dr. Inesa and my skin is looking better and healthier than it has in years.

★★★★★ — Cameron, Feb 2022

Inesa at Cincinnati Accupuncture Clinic is simply the best! Well deserving of a five-star rating or above. I have been a patient for several years. She is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, professional and accommodating. Her office is convenient, well equipped, organized, comfortable, clean and relaxing.

★★★★★ — Doug, Sep 2021

I have a condition that is effectively treated by acupuncture. I have seen three different acupuncturists since I started getting treatment. Inesa has been the most knowledgeable of the art and science and has used a form of treatment that has been the most effective. I really like working with her.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
